Getting to Know You
Getting to know our clients and discovering your likes and dislikes, hopes and dreams is one of our favourite parts of any project. We understand that renovating your home is a huge undertaking and we want to reassure and guide you through every step of this exciting and rewarding journey. Here at Pringle & Pringle, we believe that the process of creating a beautiful home should be as enjoyable as living in it.
Ahead of our first meeting, we will send you a bespoke set of questions which will help us to learn more about your tastes and aspirations and, most importantly, understand how you want to live in your home. When we meet at your property, we will look at inspiring images together to get a sense of the kind of spaces, places, colours, patterns, textures and forms which evoke the emotions you want to feel. The nitty gritty of budgets, must-haves and time frames will also be discussed at this stage.
Making Your Home Work for You
As we develop our designs, we will take every moment of your routine and your lifestyle into consideration to ensure your home works, both practically and aesthetically, for you. Everything from the time of day the rooms will be used and the flow of the house, to your storage needs and wish list for the spaces you’d love to have, is meticulously considered in our designs.
Colour psychology is a hugely important part of what we do at Pringle & Pringle as we believe that colour has the power to dramatically influence how people feel. We will establish the colour ‘season’ you are most drawn to and this helps us to refine the colour palette for your home. We are then able to set the scene for the way you want to feel in each room, based on your personality. Our aim is to make your home as flexible as possible so that it can adapt to your changing needs and continue to inspire, nurture and enhance your life for years to come.
Presenting Your Designs
Once we have distilled all your ideas, inspirations, dreams and needs into a comprehensive design, we will present it to you in a beautiful booklet, together with fabric and material samples and a detailed price list. The presentation will include gorgeous sketches; our bespoke furniture, joinery and lighting design proposals; colour and houseplant ideas and those all-important soft furnishing specifications. This will truly bring the project to life and help you to visualise your beautiful new home.
We recommend that you take your time to carefully consider the presentation and how the designs make you feel. Once you have given us your feedback, we will further refine the designs ready for your final approval.
Creating Your Perfect Home
When taking our designs from paper to reality our outstanding project management skills come into play. To make your life as easy as possible, we will negotiate the best prices, take care of all the orders, manage delivery times and once the building work is complete, we will install every last detail. We understand how important it is that you are kept up to date, so we will provide weekly reports so you can see how your home is evolving.
